WisdomWay™  Institute maintains this website, any courses offered and other linked and related sites (the “Site”) for the use of its customers, vendors, students, and other Site users (“Users”) upon agreement to the following terms. Please read the terms carefully before using the Site. Use of this website indicates acceptance of these “Terms of Use” and forms a binding agreement between you and WisdomWay™  Institute. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use this Site.

Use of Site

WisdomWay™  Institute provides various materials, information, quizzes, tests, questions, articles, news and other information on this and related sites and in courses offered through this site (the “Materials”). Users may not modify the Materials at this Site in any way or reproduce, share or distribute them. Any breach of these Terms of Use automatically terminates your authorized use of the Site.

Trademark and Copyright

WisdomWay™ methods, course materials and publications are the exclusively property of WisdomWay™ Institute and cannot be reproduced without permission. The curriculums we use are either based on MBSR accredited program guidelines and/or are developed for the exclusive use of WisdomWay™  Institute.

Links to external websites are provided solely as a convenience to you. WisdomWay™  Institute has not reviewed all of these external websites, does not control and is not responsible for any of these sites or their content. If you decide to access any of the external websites linked to this Site, you do so entirely at your own risk.

No Warranty

The Materials provided at this site are provided “as is” without any warranties of any kind including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property. WisdomWay™  Institute may make changes to the Materials at this Site, or to the services and prices described in them, at any time without notice

Limitation of Liability

In no event will WisdomWay™  Institute, its suppliers, or other third parties mentioned at this Site be liable for any damages whatsoever arising out of the use, inability to use, or the results of the use of this Site, any websites liked to this Site, or the Materials or information contained at any or all such sites, whether based on warranty, contract, tort or any other legal theory and whether or not advised of the possibility of such damages. If your use of the Materials or information from this Site results in the need for servicing, repair or correction of equipment or data, you assume all costs thereof.

Refund Policy

We will offer a full refund of your paid tuition if you decide to officially withdraw from a course/training program within 30 days from when your first module/course begins, or, from the date of purchase if it is a self-paced course.  

Emergency Cancellations

We make a commitment to hold our live sessions and to maintain our syllabus as scheduled and we hope you’ll fully participate in the group discussions and are able to see the course to completion. However, we recognize that some events are out of our control.

If you are unable to participate in your cohort activities, please notify the instructor in advance if at all possible.  It is possible that we can add you to another cohort.

In the event of unforeseen circumstances such as power outages or illness that prevents WisdomWay™ Institute from holding a session as scheduled, or keeps us from making content available in accordance with our planned syllabus the instructor will provide a makeup session that accommodates the needs of the group as completely as possible. Please be sure to provide the best email and phone number for emergency cancellations to allow us the opportunity to provide you notice.

If difficulties cause significant disruption to our scheduled syllabus and we are not able to remedy it, you will be given the option to repeat a future course at no additional cost or will be refunded 100% in the absence of an alternative.

WisdomWay™  Institute is not responsible for any additional costs or damages other than the tuition refunds described above.

Course Content and Participation
I have read the course description and I understand that:

WisdomWay™  Institute's programs often will invite formal and informal meditation and mindful movement as well as an opportunity for relaxation, stress reeducation and relief of muscular tension. As is the case with any physical activity, the risk of injury, even serious or disabling, is always present and cannot be entirely eliminated. If I experience any pain or discomfort, I will listen to my body, discontinue the activity, and ask for support from the instructor. I will continue to breathe smoothly. I assume full responsibility for any and all damages, which may incur through participation.

I understand that meditation can be unhelpful or even harmful if I have certain psychiatric conditions. I understand that it is my responsibility to communicate with my mental health practitioners and to get approval from them for my participation in this course.

I understand that an MBSR course or other offerings of WisdomWay™ Institute are not a substitute for medical attention nor is it a substitute for psychotherapy or mental health care.

I affirm that a licensed physician has verified my good health and physical condition to participate in such a fitness program. In addition, I will make the instructor aware of any medical conditions or physical limitations before class.

I also affirm that I alone am responsible to decide whether to practice meditation and/or movement/yoga and participation is at my own risk.

I hereby agree to irrevocably release and waive any claims that I have now or may have hereafter against WisdomWay™ Institute and its instructors or staff.

I acknowledge I have read and fully understand and agree to the above terms. I agree to this agreement voluntarily and recognize that my enrollment serves as complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law.

Video/Photograph Release Form
I hereby grant WisdomWay™ Institute the irrevocable right and permission to use photographs and/or video recordings of me on wisdomwayinstitute.com and other websites and in publications, promotional flyers, educational materials, derivative works, or for any other similar purpose without compensation to me.

I understand and agree that such photographs and/or video recordings of me may be placed on the Internet. I also understand and agree that I may be identified by name and/or title in printed, Internet or broadcast information that might accompany the photographs and/or video recordings of me. I waive the right to approve the final product. I agree that all such portraits, pictures, photographs, video and audio recordings, and any reproductions thereof, and all plates, negatives, recording tape and digital files are and shall remain the property of the WisdomWay™ Institute.

I hereby release, acquit and forever discharge WisdomWay™ Institute its current and former trustees, agents, officers and employees of the above-named entities from any and all claims, demands, rights, promises, damages and liabilities arising out of or in connection with the use or distribution of said photographs and/or video recordings, including but not limited to any claims for invasion of privacy, appropriation of likeness or defamation.

I hereby warrant that I am eighteen (18) years old or more. This release is binding on me and my heirs, assigns and personal representatives.

Effective Date and Updates

The Terms are effective as of October 11, 2018 and are subject to change without notice by WisdomWay™  Institute at any time. Please check for changes regularly. Your use of this Site after such changes constitutes your agreement to such changes.
